The Slanted Desktop Studio Rack will transform your clunky, rack gear into a showpiece on your desktop or workstation. We have taken our best-selling desktop rack and improved upon it with a new slanted design that adds easier function and accessibility to your desktop workstation.
Depending on your storage needs, this rugged hand-made rack provides 4 tspaces of rack gear storage along with a tabletop work surface for monitors or gear. Constructed from study pine we are confident this rack will endure and be (literally) by your side in all your creative endeavors. Each rack has 4 – 1/2″ rubber feet on the bottom to keep your gear secure and is finished with the Sanctus leather emblem on each side.
Available in four stains choices: Classic Oak, Walnut; Kona, or Black.

We primarily ship via UPS Ground, which within the Continental US can take up to 5 business to travel from us to you. For some destinations, the shipping time may exceed that estimation. The closer you are in proximity to us (New Hampshire), the faster the shipping time. We currently manufacture in Deerfield, New Hampshire in the barn of an 1782 farmhouse.
We offer four shades of stain for our finished items: Black, Kona, Walnut and Classic Oak. These colors are a water-based stain and poly combination made by Varathane. According to their labeling, the max VOC content on these stains is <275 g/L. The coloring of each stain does slightly vary depending upon the underlying wood type. For reference use the wood/stain swatch photos attached to each product to get a better idea of what to expect when ordering. Please note: the Black stain is just that, a stain and not a black paint. It is the darkest color we offer, but really a darker shade of brown.

We do not offer colors outside of the four stains noted above. However, we will sell you an unstained version of your desired item (sanded and ready for finish), and you can paint/stain it yourself any color you like. Please contact us BEFORE making your purchase so we can send you a custom order for purchase with your choice of a natural/unfinished look.
All of our racks receive size 10-32 screws. We sell packs of rack screws HERE.
Rack screws are sold separately and not included with our racks. However, each pack of our Maple Rack Spacers includes 12 corresponding rack screws.

The double spaced slanted 4U rack that was made for me is exactly what I was looking for but could not find until I found it at Sanctus Sound. Absolutely beautiful and professionally made with great care for detail and quality. It single-handedly cleared up my desk and enabled me to hide all of its cables behind it with tie wraps. It also saved me the time and money of buying alternative cables since everything is so close together now and routed properly and with short distance. This is exactly what I needed for my home hobby studio to free up space and get rid of my separate floor rack. At 5 feet wide it fits PERFECTLY on my desk. It is well made and noticeably higher quality than your average big box store MDF crap that won’t be in one piece a year after you bought it. Even more surprising is that it is fairly light weight, making it easy to move or readjust on the desktop. I’m not a very big or overtly strong person and I had no issues carrying this up a flight of stairs by myself. Once loaded up with heavy rack gear, it doesn’t flex, bend, crack, or show any sign of eventually succumbing to the weight of the gear like a cheaper product would. For the price you can’t beat this. Next time I find myself in need of studio equipment rack furniture, I’ll be back. I highly recommend Sanctus Sound!

I work as a post production colorist in the film industry. I have a unique reclaimed teak wood desk that is quite a nice and large workspace. However, I was never able to find a matching rack to go on top! I ordered a customized 4U Slanted Desktop Rack in a Walnut Stain — but I only needed a 3U Tall Rack. Sanctus Sound was happy to help me out. I have a Pair of Scopes installed as well as some other coloring and audio equipment. My monitors sit perfectly on top of the hutch.
