This is a custom, 12-channel audio snake with hand-built wooden junction box. The audio snake measures 15 feet in length (or longer) of Mogami 2933 cabling with 12 Neutrik NC3MXX or (NC3FXX) connectors (or TRS 1/4″ as shown) terminating into a hand-made wooden junction box housing 12 Neutrik NC3FD-L-1 (or NC3MD-L-1) connectors. The box has 1/4″ rubber feet for traction and a metal handle for ease of movement. All connections are hand-soldered with heat-shrink covering all the contacts. This is a beautiful piece that will certainly add both in function and aesthetic to your studio or live environment. The exterior of the box is Kona poly/stain and the top cover (holding the connectors) is Classic Oak poly/stain.

We primarily ship via UPS Ground, which within the Continental US can take up to 5 business to travel from us to you. For some destinations, the shipping time may exceed that estimation. The closer you are in proximity to us (New Hampshire), the faster the shipping time. We currently manufacture in Deerfield, New Hampshire in the barn of an 1782 farmhouse.
We offer four shades of stain for our finished items: Black, Kona, Walnut and Classic Oak. These colors are a water-based stain and poly combination made by Varathane. According to their labeling, the max VOC content on these stains is <275 g/L. The coloring of each stain does slightly vary depending upon the underlying wood type. For reference use the wood/stain swatch photos attached to each product to get a better idea of what to expect when ordering. Please note: the Black stain is just that, a stain and not a black paint. It is the darkest color we offer, but really a darker shade of brown.

We do not offer colors outside of the four stains noted above. However, we will sell you an unstained version of your desired item (sanded and ready for finish), and you can paint/stain it yourself any color you like. Please contact us BEFORE making your purchase so we can send you a custom order for purchase with your choice of a natural/unfinished look.
All of our racks receive size 10-32 screws. We sell packs of rack screws HERE.
Rack screws are sold separately and not included with our racks. However, each pack of our Maple Rack Spacers includes 12 corresponding rack screws.

Bought one of the snake boxes with a custom length everything showed up perfect and all channels tested 100%. Shipping/build was really fast – probably a bout a week from order to receiving the box.
